NOW is excited to announce that the 6th Annual A Taste for NOW, A Taste for Life will return on Saturday, October 14th at Quinebaug Valley Community College, starting at 6:00 pm. Come and enjoy a carefully selected menu of uncommon beers and wines paired with delectable bites from area restaurants, bakeries, and caterers.

Live music will be provided by the Junkyard Heartstrings, an acoustic duo cover band located in eastern Connecticut. The band features Heidi V. Sheldon on vocals and Jason M. Sheldon on guitar.

Northeast Opportunities for Wellness, Inc. (NOW) is a 501c3 non-profit human service organization dedicated to the promotion of youth wellness. NOW provides education in nutrition and instruction in fitness and sports, regardless of access to financial resources. Through our partnerships with local youth sports and recreational organizations, we continue to help children participate in different sport leagues, after school programs and camps by providing up to 95{935c65a732af2bdfdcd0903b52ce42ca7e95cf00c7f9fc1a7b4e2b425875eda7} scholarships to families in need. In all of these events, we’ve also introduced fitness and nutrition education while trying to promote many different sports – soccer, football, basketball, cheerleading, lacrosse hockey, etc.

Online ticket sales are now closed. We will also sell tickets at the door, starting at 6:00 p.m. at QVCC.
