The 7th Annual A Taste for NOW, A Taste for Life, will return on Saturday, April 21st at Quinebaug Valley Community College, starting at 6:00 p.m. Come and enjoy a carefully selected menu of uncommon beers and wines paired with delectable bites from area restaurants, bakeries, and caterers, including:
Black Dog Bar & Grille
Connecticut National Golf Club
The Courthouse Bar & Grille
Giant Pizza
The G Seven Catering Company
The Inn at Woodstock Hill
The Lunchbox Catering Company
The Raceway Golf Club
Renee’s Working Girl Catering
The Stomping Ground
Victoria Station
This is the first year that the Taste for NOW will be held in the spring and we anticipate that the season will serve as an inspiration for our participating restaurants and caterers. We will have a “Best Chef” contest, with guests encouraged to vote for their favorite food of the evening. There will also be a special door prize raffle for guests who visit every food station during the event. Fitting with the spring season, this will be a “fresh” take on NOW’s signature fundraising event.
Another new feature of the 2018 event: sponsor Tito’s Handmade Vodka will be at the event with samples of their award-winning vodka!
Over two dozen beers and wine will once again be provided by our friends at Friendly Spirits! 10% of all their sales during the night will also be generously donated back to NOW!
For 2018, the Taste for NOW will feature music by two talented artists, Allysen Callery (allysencallerymusic.com), a self-taught folk artist from Rhode Island, and Tristan Omand (tristanomand.com), a folk musician from New Hampshire.
Online ticket sales have closed – tickets will be available for purchase at the door.
