Our Nature-Based Learning Toddler Playgroup is designed for young children to explore and engage with the natural world around them. This program runs every Thursday in July and August from 10:00 to 11:00 AM\, meeting at the Beach House at Roseland Park. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nProgram Highlights: \n\n\n\n\nHands-On Nature Exploration: Each session includes interactive activities that encourage toddlers to touch\, see\, and experience nature firsthand. From collecting leaves and rocks to observing insects and birds\, children will delight in the wonders of the outdoors.\n\n\n\nSensory Play: Activities are tailored to stimulate the senses\, with opportunities for water play\, sand exploration\, and discovering various textures and sounds in nature.\n\n\n\nCreative Crafts: Toddlers will enjoy making nature-inspired crafts\, fostering creativity and fine motor skills using natural materials they find during their exploration.\n\n\n\nStorytime and Songs: Each session will feature engaging stories and songs related to nature\, enhancing language development and making learning fun.\n\n\n\nPhysical Activity: Gentle physical activities like nature walks\, simple obstacle courses\, and playful exercises help develop gross motor skills in a beautiful\, open-air environment.\n\n\n\n\nWhat to Bring: \n\n\n\n\nComfortable clothing suitable for outdoor play\n\n\n\nA hat and sunscreen for sun protection\n\n\n\nA water bottle to stay hydrated\n\n\n\nA small snack if desired\n\n\n\nBug spray (optional)\n\n\n\n\nLocation:We meet at the Beach House in Roseland Park\, Woodstock\, CT.
