Participants will engage in activities that promote healthy relationships\, self-awareness\, and positive social interactions.\n\n\n\nCommunity Involvement: With a focus on fostering a sense of community\, members will have opportunities to participate in local service projects and collaborative events\, instilling a sense of responsibility and civic-mindedness.\n\n\n\nFun & Learning: The club balances fun with learning\, offering a mix of hands-on projects\, games\, and creative activities that make developing life skills an enjoyable experience.\n\n\n\n\nPartnering with TEEG\, we aim to create a supportive space where young teens can grow\, learn\, and make new friends. DESCRIPTION:This program takes place every other Friday from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. at the NOW office (181 Main Street\, Danielson CT 06239)  \n\n\n\nApril 4th – 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.  \n\n\n\nApril 18th – NO MEETING – GOOD FRIDAY  \n\n\n\nMay 2nd – 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.  \n\n\n\nMay 16th – 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.  \n\n\n\nJune 6th – 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.  \n\n\n\nNOW has partnered with Teen Life Coach for Girls\, Ginny Moylan\, and Licensed Clinical Social Worker\, Lisa Maria Rivera\, to host this ~Strong Like A Girl~ Teen Empowerment Group. This group is designed to be a safe space for girls ages 6th – 9th grade to cultivate self-love\, care\, and respect. Our goal is to help teens navigate the natural challenges of adolescence while developing the toolbox of skills needed to conquer their own world.
