DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 14th Annual Northeast Opportunities for Wellness (NOW) 5K Road Race & Walk — Lap the Lake 2026! \n\n\n\nWe are excited to announce that our signature fundraising event\, Lap the Lake\, returns on Sunday\, September 20\, 2026 for its 14th year of bringing our community together for health\, wellness\, and fun! \n\n\n\nSet against the breathtaking backdrop of beautiful Alexander’s Lake in Dayville\, Connecticut\, participants are invited to enjoy a scenic 5K run or walk along the private roads surrounding the lake’s pristine shoreline. Whether you’re chasing a personal best\, enjoying a leisurely walk with family and friends\, or simply supporting a great cause\, this event offers something for everyone. \n\n\n\nFamilies are encouraged to bring their little ones to participate in our annual Kids Fun Run\, making this a memorable day for participants of all ages. \n\n\n\nThe 5K race will kick off and conclude at The Old Lake Tavern\, where participants and spectators can enjoy the excitement of the day\, including a live broadcast from WINY Radio and professional race photography to capture the memories. \n\n\n\nMost importantly\, every step taken helps make a difference.
