Pluck-a-Duck Fun Run

Start NOW’s Kid’s 3-Month Marathon challenge off in style! Join NOW for the Pluck-a-Duck Fun Run at 10:00 AM on Sunday, August 10th, 2025, at the Hale YMCA Youth & Family Center for day one of the PBA’s Pluck-a-Duck event! Whether kids walk, waddle, roll, or fly, everyone is welcome to try this one-mile adventure along the scenic Quinebaug River path. Hosted by Northeast Opportunities for Wellness (NOW) as part of their 3-month Kids’ Marathon Challenge, this high-energy event is also the official start to the PBA’s Pluck-a-Duck weekend! All participants will score a cool t-shirt, a custom medal, post-run refreshments, and tons of fun in the Kids’ Corner. Supported by Breezeline, Centreville Bank, Christopher Heights, and Day Kimball Healthcare, this event promises to be full of fitness, fun, and feathers!
