The heart of the NOW Nutrition program is a strong focus on lifestyle choices meant to encourage the consumption of high-quality whole foods and to teach the importance of daily hydration.
We understand we are given one physical body in our lifetime and that it is a responsibility to treat this gift with respect. By making healthy food choices we honor ourselves and those we love. We strive to teach each child to seek the highest degree of wellness possible in order to enjoy the rewards of good health and overall fitness. It is our hope that the youth we serve will take the nutritional information we provide into their communities, inspiring their family and friends with practical tools that help them make healthy choices that contribute to life-long wellness.

Since our founding in 2011, NOW has been governed by an all-volunteer board of directors from across the 10-town area of northeastern Connecticut. Our programs are made possible through their support, as well as the hard work and dedication of our executive director and program facilitators.
SUPPORT OUR MISSION
As a Connecticut non-profit (501-c-3) organization, NOW depends on community support to provide more than 500 children per year with vital access to fitness, sports and nutrition resources each year – not to mention lots of friendships and FUN!
